Welcome to The Learning Grove Academy-Carmel

Formerly known as Funshine Children’s Learning Center, The Learning Grove Academy in Carmel is located right off of West 96th Street near Michigan Rd. It’s across the street from College Park Ministry Center.

The Learning Grove Academy in Carmel offers care for children 6 weeks through 5 years old. We provide full-time care for infants and toddlers, consisting of five full days of love, care, and learning from our dedicated teachers. Children 2 and up are offered both full and part-time care to allow families a more flexible option to meet their needs while allowing your child to learn and grow with us. Our teachers bring over thirty-five years of early childhood education experience to your children.

Meet Our Director

Hello! My name is Teea, and I am the Center Director for The Learning Grove Academy in Carmel. I graduated with a bachelor's in arts and humanity with a minor in sociology from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. I have served in early childhood education for over 12 years and have worn many hats during that time – loving every minute of it. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with William, my husband, and with my sassy daughter, Teegan, who keeps me very busy. I also love spending time with my siblings and parents, watching a great marvel movie. I am excited to work with you as a partner in education to ensure a strong dedication to early childhood education and success for all learners. My goal is to build upon these successes through strong relationships with teachers, staff, parents, students, and community organizations as we partner and advocate the importance of early childhood education for all children. I will make every attempt to make myself available for parents and welcome any input.
