School Age
Growing Beyond the Classroom
At The Learning Grove Academy, learning doesn’t stop when the school bell rings—it just gets more fun! Our School Age Program in Indiana and Iowa is designed to complement your child’s formal education while providing exciting opportunities for exploration, creativity, and growth. We blend play-based learning with academic support, creating a space where school-age children can unwind, dive into new interests, and connect with friends.
We offer flexible options to fit your family’s needs with before and after school options.
A Balance of Learning, Play and Connection
Our program is designed to support both academic success and social development—while making sure kids have plenty of fun!
- Homework Help – From science to social studies, our teachers are here to guide your child through their homework, helping them develop good study habits and build confidence in their abilities.
- Active Play and Exploration – After a day of sitting in a classroom, kids need time to move! We provide plenty of opportunities for outdoor games, sports, and free play, helping them strengthen gross motor skills and burn off energy.
- Enriching Activities – From hands-on science experiments to creative arts and group projects, our activities spark curiosity and keep young minds engaged. In our Montessori classrooms, school-age children can choose self-directed projects, deepening their problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Social Growth – Outside the traditional classroom, kids have more chances to form friendships, practice teamwork, and develop strong social skills—all while having fun!
Studies show that children enrolled in afterschool programs often improve their grades, develop better homework habits, and gain valuable social skills—and we’re here to help make that happen in a fun, nurturing space.
We’d love for you to visit one of our centers and see how we support school-age children in growing, learning, and having fun—both in and out of the classroom!
