Meet Our Director
My name is Mikaela Brandenburg, and I am the Center Director for The Learning Grove Academy in North Liberty. With nearly a decade of experience in early childhood education, I have a strong foundation and passion for nurturing young minds. Growing up surrounded by early educators, I developed a deep appreciation for this field. As a director and educator, I am committed to giving back to our community by fostering a safe, inspiring environment where children’s creativity can flourish.
My background includes three and a half years living overseas, which enriched my understanding and appreciation of diverse languages and cultures. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, boating, and spending quality time with my animals.
