Meet Our Director

Hello, my name is Amanda Taylor, and I bring more than 15 years of experience in early childhood education, along with an associate degree in early childhood education. I am passionate about creating safe, nurturing, and engaging environments where children can grow, learn, and thrive. Building strong relationships with families, supporting teachers, and staying actively involved in the community are all important parts of my work. As part of the Avon and greater Indianapolis community, I am excited to serve local families and help strengthen our school community.

My favorite part of working with children is watching the excitement on their faces when they learn something new. I love those “aha” moments and the opportunity to create hands-on experiences that encourage exploration, creativity, and discovery. I also believe children teach us just as much through their curiosity, honesty, and imagination. At the center, I am especially excited to bring meaningful learning experiences, a strong curriculum presence, and deeper community connections for our families. My goal is to create an environment where every child feels supported, every family feels connected, and every classroom is filled with purposeful learning each day.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, fishing, and hosting cookouts. I look forward to partnering with your family and being part of your child’s learning journey.
