Meet Our Director

My name is Reshonte, and I am the center director at The Learning Grove Academy – Jonesboro. I’ve worked in early childhood education for over 11 years, and I still love what I do every day. I began my career in childcare and later transitioned into the public school system, where I managed an afterschool program. Over time, I felt a calling to step into leadership—not only to impact the children in my care but also to support the teachers who guide them. I earned my Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Childcare Program Management, which helped pave the way for the leadership role I’m honored to hold today.

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is building lasting relationships with families and being a part of each child’s growth. I believe that strong partnerships between parents and educators create the foundation for success, and I’m committed to fostering that connection here at The Learning Grove Academy – Jonesboro. It’s a joy to watch each child learn, explore, and thrive in a nurturing environment.

Outside of work, I have a loud, fun, and loving family that keeps me grounded and inspired. My significant other and I are raising three amazing kids, and we love spending quality time together—especially when it involves traveling. Disney is one of our favorite destinations! I’m excited to continue growing our school community and can’t wait to welcome your family into it.
